  1. Complete a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking)
  2. Complete an Anti-Money Laundering Course
  3. Obtain an original certified copy of your National Police Check
  4. Obtain an original certified copy of your Credit Check
  5. Obtain an original certified copy of your Drivers License
  6. Provide your Resume
  7. Obtain Professional Indemnity (PI) Insurance
  8. Elect a mentor – outsource financial
  9. Join the external dispute resolution scheme; Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA)
  10. Join an industry body e.g. Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA) or Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA)
